Fabulous day out in the Mountains of Northern Thailand, Up to Pulanka for the views abd around to a national park to take a jungle trek to find a mountain waterfall and river. Bry Nid and Pie all had a special day over here in the Pahayo region of Northern Thailand.

July is the harvest time for LamYai Longan Berrys in Thailand a close relative to Lychee and Rambutan.

I have been traveling to Chiang Rai for about 17 years and lived here full time for the last 3 years, in all that time I have tried many restaurants and when it comes to steak they have all been found wanting even the so called high end establishments, until now that is Hungry Wolfs is a joy, a food heaven with an outstanding menu eager to please staff and knockout service. today we had a meal for 8 people, salads, chicken wings, chicken legs, Scallops wrapped in bacon, Pizza, Steak pie, Pork chops, Pork knuckle, and the most divine fillet stake Mignon imported from Australia. French fries, mash potato, peas, more side salads the works including beers and soft drinks.

We built a secondary filter to stop debris from blocking the net over the spillway and now the rains are here the dam if full to withing a few inches of going over the spillway. The fish are spawning and all seems well with the world. The cattle are enjoying lush grass and corn.
